We were introduced the doctrine of general revelation as well as the doctrine of sin. There are two main points that you need to leave with today:
- God has revealed Himself plainly such that we are without excuses to claim we didn’t know Him.
- Sin begins as soon as we start suppressing the truth of God by choosing godlessness. Keep in mind that these are people who were openly defiant of God. As Dan Crawford, a British missionary to Africa, said, “The heathen are sinning against a flood of light.”
Our part is to strengthen this area of the gospel message and remember that there is a desperate need to carry the Gospel to all men because this is the only way they will be saved.
